The Ambassador to the World

Holy shit they could not have given this title a better candidate. This man traveled to North Korea and somehow negotiated the release of the two reporters who were imprisoned there for four months. They were imprisoned and convicted of spying on North Korea on behalf of other United States. The women were sentenced to hard labor (idk how long). Luckily, something about the former president inspired Kim Jong Il to release the women and send them on their way.

Double Plus ++ for being ridiculously awesome, Mr. Clinton.

In Twitter News…

…yet another frivolous lawsuit from the technology world. This one is over a supposed defamation of character that came in the form of a tweet by some lady. I couldn’t find her account on Twitter. The story is here. Are these people serious? Suing her over a tweet? Defamation of character is already one of the hardest things to prove, and that responsibility rests upon the plaintiff – have fun with that one. How much defamation can you really do in 140 characters? If this case actually makes it into a courtroom I’ll be incredibly surprised.

The best part of the story is the quote from the plaintiff: “We’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization.” What?

Nothing to hand out here. I’m too depressed by this.

Man I Hate Microsoft.

That’s why I love this picture.

Microsoft gets a big, fat Double Minus – – for a) being lazy and b) inventing this crap. Google has 65% of the market share for a reason – because it works! Why spend your time, money and effort trying to fix something that is not broken?

I guess I do have to give them points for at least appearing to support the Open Source community.

Blade Finds a New Purpose

There is so much ass kicking win wrapped up in this picture I can’t even find words to describe it.

If I knew where credit was due I would give it. In the meantime, I will be looking for the mastermind behind this so I can give them a Double Plus ++.
